In the past I sporadically ice fished, but without a shelter. After buying this shelter, I added 3 months of ENJOYABLE fishing to my year! I researched many ice shelters and am pleased that this one met the great value I hoped it to be. Very well made with two reliable entrance zippers, several clear windows, and even some ventilation screens that I just discovered on my last outing. I've never sat in an insulated shelter, and while this one is not insulated, with a 15,000 BTU propane heater inside, I shed my coat. 10 - 12 (?) sturdy anchors are included as well as anchor strings which I learned this week in windy conditions are needed to prevent the wind side from collapsing in. 6 anchors plus 2 anchors to hold the anchor strings (did not use all anchor strings) held up to 20+ MPH winds this past week (but setting it up in the wind took some planning and extra bodies to keep it from flying away!). Unless you always fish alone, I would recommend the 6 man instead of 3 man shelter as the extra space is very nice and allows for more holes within the shelter. Enjoy!
